Derailed car caused delays

Last night a car loaded with coal became derailed on a freight train north bound near Aurora station, making it necessary for the auxiliary to turn out from Allandale. No. 67 was delayed considerably and did not arrive here till 9.45 p.m., while two sections of No. 68 with over 1000 passengers aboard waited at Aurora until the car was replaced on a siding. It is rumored that the accident was caused by the car running through an open switch.
