Allison Herald.—The G.T.R. have laid a siding at Thompsonville to accommodate the shipments of lumber which are to be made from that point this winter. All available standing timber has been purchased by an operator who will, during the winter, cut it into lumber by means of a portable mill. It is estimated that something like three hundred carloads will be shipped out of the district before spring.
