All members were present at a meeting of Council held Aug. 23rd.

W. R. Tiffin wrote to know what amount of money COuncil expected G.T.R. Co. to pay for improving Raikes' Crossing. Reeve reported that he had instructed Clerk to write Mr. Tiffin that the total cost would be about $500, half of the amount expended to be paid by the company.
