Grand Trunk Western Lines.—Grade separation on Dequindre line in City of Detroit, Mich.—The project consists of separating grades from and including Franklin St., on the south, to Hale St. on the north, the whole work to be completed by the end of 1933. Work at Franklin, Woodbridge, Jefferson, Larned, Congress and Fort Sts. are completed, and Lafayette St. partially completed. The 1925 work covered the completion of Lafayette St., also grade separation of Munroe and Macomb Sts. and the acquisition of additional property for future work. The project is 35% completed.

Grade separation in West Detroit.—This work consists of elevating tracks between Vinewood and Warren Ave.s and the construction of subways at McKinley, Roosevelt, 25th, 24th, 23rd, Buchanan and Maybury Grand Streets. At present only temporary structures are being built at each of these streets with the exception of Buchanan St., where a permanent structure is being completed. The project is 50% completed.

Grade separation, concrete and steel subway, with ballast deck at 24th Street, Port Huron, Mich., completed.

Terminal improvements at Port Huron include construction at additional freight house tracks; paving of driveways to freight house and team tracks; additional transfer tracks and platform customs tracks and team tracks, completed.

New locomotive terminal at Nichols, Mich., 45 stall locomotive house with machine shop, boiler house, cinder pits, store house and office, coaling station, turntable, ashpit, water supply and necessary track work. Work started in 1924 and completed in 1925.
