Wabash railway plans adding two fast trains
Special Despatch to The Globe.
St. Thomas, March 6—Although no definite announcement has been made by the officials, the report is current that the Wabash Railway plans the introduction of another fast passenger train and a passenger express special in a few weeks in order to to take care of the road's increasing business. Two new passenger trains were added to the service in February, and have been patronized to capacity ever since. The deferential fare rate in effect in the United States, which reduces the fare on the Canadian division by about $2, has made this route very popular with travellers.
