G.T.R. betterments, construction, etc.
Lachine, Jacques Cartier and Maisonneuve Ry.—In passing through Parliament the company's bill was amended by the addition of clauses providing that proceedings tor the expropriation of lands in Montréal shall be completed within three months of the passing of the act; that the Board of Railway Commissioners shall be deemed to be substituted for the Provincial Commission of Public Utilities mentioned in certain agreements to which the company is a party; and authorizing the making of agreements with the C.P.R., the Canadian Northern Québec Ry., and the Montréal Terminal Ry.
