Will C.P.R. make Orillia div. point?
Talke of commencing work in few weeks on round house, etc.—News of the week from Orillia.
...
The News-Letter was informed last week from a reliable source that the C. P. R. will, in a few weeks, commence work in their yard here on the construction of a round house and repair shop. If the report proves correct it will be a good thing for the town, as it will probably mean that this is to be a divisional point, and that a large staff of men will be employed here.
The laying of rails from Coldwater to Orillia will commence shortly. The rails from Silver Creek to Orillia will be pushed ahead immediately, so that large construction trains can get to work on hauling material to fill in the lake front, yard and other necessary places on the line in this vicinity.—Orillia News-Letter.
