Walter P. Withers
Ailing for several years, Walter P. Withers passed away at his home on Dunlop St. Tuesday morning. For the past few years deceased had been a resident of Barrie, coming here from Elora, where due to ill health he was retired on pension from the service of the Canadian Pacific Railway.
For eighteen years Mr. Withers had been stationed at Beeton as C.P.R. agent. He took an active interest in Masonry and was a Part Master of Spry Lodge, A.F. and A.M., No. 385.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Orley and Lorne. A short service was held at his late residence here, the cortege proceeding to St. Paul's Church, Beeton, for service and interment in Trinity United Cemetery.
