Central Ontario Ry.—Press reports recently stated that an extension of 40 miles from Bancroft, the present terminus, to Whitney, on the Canada Atlantic Ry., was contemplated. We are officially informed that nothing whatever has been done in reference to the matter, and there is no prospect whatever of getting on with the work at present. (June, 1902, pg. 189.)
