Canadian Northern Ry, construction, etc.

Canadian Northern Québec Ry.—The Board of Railway Commissioners has authorized the company to use tracks on the bridge over the St. Charles river, near Québec, including property used in common by the Québec Ry., Light and Power Co., and the Québec and Lake St. John Ry., for entering Québec, $1,500 a year rental to be paid to the former company, and also to pay all arrears for the use of the bridge, and be responsible for its share of its maintenance and operation. The Board has also approved the extension of the yards between Moreau and Marlborough streets, and dismissed the applications for closing Robillard St., the extension of yards in Hochelaga, to cross Marlborough St., and to take certain lands on Stadacona and Marlborough streets.
