Grand Valley Ry.—With a view of improving the line between Brantford and Paris, Ont., the company proposed to do away with its present track at the entrance to the town, where there is a steep hill, and locate it some distance westerly and along the G.T.R. This alteration will effect a saving of about a mile in distance. It is also proposed to erect a new and commodious station in Paris, on the site of the present building. With reference to the projected line from Brantford to Port Dover, the Manager stated Dec. 8 that the company intended to start construction in the spring and to have the line completed by the fall.
