Stock attendant injured in wreck.

A rear-end collision near Burk's Falls on Friday morning caused extensive damage and loss to the property of the G.T.R. and the freight they carried for others. A freight with Engineer Nelson at the throttle, ran into the rear of another freight with such force as to consign the engine to the scrap heap, and demolish three freight cars. The wreck caught fire from the engine and two box cars, containing among other things, seven pianos, furniture, etc., were consumed by the flames. The only person to receive serious injury was a man in charge of some horses. He was thrown some distance and was at once rushed off to a hospital, where, at latest reports, he is said to be recovering. The engine was brought into Allandale on a flat car, and it looked nothing more than a mass of twisted iron and steel fit for the scrap heap.
