Lazard signalling.—The Board of Railway Commissioners passed order 36,965, Oct. 22, approving proposed signalling protection at junction of Cartierville Branch with main line at Lazard, Que., rescinding order 34,705 and authorizing removal of pipe connected derail required to be installed under that order, and which has been made unnecessary by the re-arrangement of tracks incidental to the double tracking from Mount Royal to Lazard. The signal protection now at this points consists only of a wire connected signal interlocked with the crossover switches.
