Wolfe Creek viaduct.—The Board of Railway Commissioners has authorized the reconstruction of the viaduct at Wolfe Creek, near Coristine, mile 22.3, Alderdale Subdivision, Capreol Division, Northern Ontario District. We are advised officially that the present timber trestle, 517 ft. long, is to be replaced by a steel viaduct, 330 ft. long, the remaining distance to be filled in. The work to be done consists of the erection of 2 concrete abutments and 12 dwarf piers to support the steel bents; the steel trestle will consist of 30 ft. towers and 60 ft. spans. The concrete work will be done by the railway's forces, and the steel work will be obtained from an abandoned trestle.
