Owen Sound interswitching.—Owen Sound, Ont., City Council, passed a resolution, Sept. 10, requesting the Board of Railway Commissioners to put into effect the order issued April 1923, providing for interswitching between the Canadian National and Canadian Pacific Rys. This would entail the construction of a bridge across the river where it joins the harbor, with a wye on the east side of the river. The work is estimated to cost $30,000, of which the city's share would be about $10,000. The work is said to be necessary for the successful working of the new grain elevator.
