A good first.
Ex-Reeve Savage claims that he called the first council meeting to request the Canadian Northern Railway (James Bay) to survey the line so as to touch Richmond Hill, he was on the first deputation appointed by the council to wait on the directors, he paid the company for the first and only debenture for the purchase of the land for station yards, and he drove to the station last Monday morning the person who purchased the first ticket sold on the line between Toronto and Parry Sound.
