The maximum height of the structure is 111 ft. 8 in. from top of pedestals to bottom of girder bearings. The substructure consists of 38 concrete pedestals and 2 abutments on pile foundations. The substructure work was done by the railway's forces, the contract for the fabrication and erection of the steel work being let to Dominion Bridge Co. Grading for the revision was done by contract.
