Port Mann ferry slip.—We are advised officially that it is expected that work will be undertakne during this year on the construction of dolphins at the C.N.R. car ferry dock at Port Mann, B.C., as authorized by Board of Railway Commissioners' order 37,123, Dec. 4, 1925. The car ferry dock is in front of Sections 1 and 2, Block 5, Range 2, West Coast Meridian, and projects at an angle into the Fraser River. The 6 dolphins, at 40 ft. intervals, will be constructed of 12 ft. piles, each tied together with 3/4 in. cable, the top of each dolphin being level with the top of the existing wharf. A plank walk will be extended from the existing wharf to connect with each dolphin. An electric light standard will be fixed at each dolphin so that the dock may be used at night.
