Québec terminal station.—S. N. Parent, Chairman National Transcontinental Ry. Commission, in an interview in Québec, Jan. 8, said that owing to the recent fire which destroyed the Harbor Commissioners' properties, a change of plan in connection with the proposed terminal station had been decided on. In connection with this matter he decided to consult the representatives of the various interests concerned. The building of the station and its approaches would necessitate the expenditure of about $5,000,000. A proposal made is that the property owned in the city by the Richelieu and Ontario Navigation Co. be acquired as part of the terminals site.
