The movement of trains between East Alburgh and Cantic is under the juridiction of the Central Vermont Railway train Dispatchers at St. Albans.
Train order signal on north side of East Alburgh statiom governs Alexandria Subdivision trains to and from Central Vermont Ry.
Westward trains may leave East Alburgh without Terminal Clearance provided train order signal indiactes
Proceed.Cantic—
Rules 41 & 44 applicable between Cantic and Valleyfield.
First class trains may register at Cantic by delivering register ticket to Operator.
Trains must obtain Terminal Clearance at Cantic.
Rouses Point Subdivision crossing—
Trains may operate through Interlocking without their first being brough to a stop, provided signals are in
Proceedindications, and that all eastward trains on the Alexandria Subdivision and all northward trains on the Rouses Point Subdivision shall not exceed a speed of 15 miles per hour when approaching and when within 1,000 feet of their Home Signal.Switches governing movements to and from connecting trackm between Alexandria Subdivision and Rouses Point Subdivision, located east and north of Cantic station, are Dual Control and are operated by Operator Cantic station.
Trains to and from Alexandria Subdivision will use this connecting track.
Napierville Junction Railway crossing—
Westward trains of the Canadian National Railways shall not exceed a speed of 10 miles per hour when they are appraoching the crossing and are within 1,000 feet of the westward home signal.
Westward trains not requiring to cross must stand clear of bonded section marked
End of Block Eastward. Inside switches of crossover leading to Napierville interchange tracks must be left set for movement to main track.Hemmingford Subdivision crossing—
Trains are authorized to operate over this crossing without first being brought to a stop, provided the signals are in clear indication at a speed not to exceed 15 miles per hour, when appraoching crossing and within 500 feet of the governing home signal.
Ayrness—
Westward freight trains stopping to take water at Ayrness, mileage 38.00, during the hours of darkness, will stop train clear of Highway No. 4 public crossing at grade at mileage 37.90 and cut engine off to take water, thus leaving highway crossing clear.
Massena Subdivision crossing—
When operator not on duty, trainmen will operate crossing signals for intended movements.
New York Central connection—
West switch of south siding leading to interchange track with New York Central Rd. at Cecile will be in normal position when set for main track.
Valleyfield—
Valleyfield is a register station, only for trains originating or terminating at Valleyfield.
All train or engine movements on siding over Rue de la Grande Ile (first crossing east of Station) must be protected by a member of the crew of trains or engines involved.
Running switches are prohibited on tracks between Gate No. 27 and crossing at Main Guard House in Canadian Arsenals Limited Plant at Valleyfield. Engine bell must be ringing and speed of ten (10) miles per hour not exceeded over these crossings.
Cornwill Subdivision Junction
Interlocking signals 565 and 566 will continue to display

All train and engine movements on the three sidings intersecting Main Street, Alexandria, must be protected by a member of the crew (B.T.C. 81484).
Vars—
Any train, engine, car or cars, prohibited standing upon siding nearer than one hundred and fifty (150) feet on either side of Main Street Crossing. This is the first public crossing at grade west of station and is protected by electric bell. All switching movements on the siding to be flagged over crossing by a member of the crew. Hawthorne—
Two leads of the New Yard Area have been constructed and are now ready for service. Both main track switches are connected with a pipe connected derail, which works in conjunction with the switch.
Riverside—
Trains may leave Riverside without Terminal Clearance provided train order signal indicates
