Leaside storehouse burned.—The storehouse at the shops at Leaside, Toronto, was totally destroyed by fire, March 16. The estimated loss is placed at about $50,000 mainly on the contents of the building, which was an old icehouse, of frame and galvanized iron construction, 250×45 ft. A number of dead locomotives on nearby sidings were hauled out of danger. Several box cars, which were also on sidings, caught fire, but were hauled away and the flames extinguished without material damage.
